Hi Barb

I had one knee replacement done 2 years ago and the other one done 1 year ago.

I still get pain and swelling in mine too. I think it could be down to where

they cut thru the nerves.

Love Joyce

I have a question for anyone that had a knee replacement about 5 years

ago. Has anyone had pain and swelling in the area where the knee

replacement is? My Drs. appointment isn't until the 23 of November

but I would like some input from anyone that might have had the same

problem. I just don't want to hear that I need another replacement

because this one is causing problems. I have always gotten good replies

Yes Barb, I just went through this with my right knee that was replaced 6 years

ago. The only problem was the muscles that had become knotted and caused so much

pain I could not walk. The doc did an MRI just to make sure the replacement was

still in place and everything was fine. A massage therapist fixed my knee in 2

treatments but cautioned me to exercise to strengthen all the muscles. Good

luck.

Hugs

Barb,

My knee replacements are 9 years old and I've had bouts of pain and

inflammation.

What kind of pain is it? I get stiffness often, but get relief with

exercise. It's nice to know

that the inflammation can't erode these joints. Those nasty beasties

can't chew threw titanium!

I hope your knee is ok.
