COSTA RICA: The trip was cancelled due to poor registration numbers, but Eastern Mountain Sports was encouraged by the interest level. Many people were very enthusiastic but said that Thanksgiving was not a popular time to go on such a trip. Another common comment was: “I don’t think I’m in shape for that kind of trip.†I can promise you this is not a “climb Kilimanjaro kind of†trip – there is plenty of time for rest, you can opt out of excursions, and they move at the group’s pace. I hope you’ll consider it next time. I’ll keep you posted on any EMS or other trips I do.
