Leflunomide

Hi Guys, My Rheummy just took me off plaquinel and put me on

leflunomide. I'm also on mtx and folic acid. Has anyone else taken

this drug? It seems to make the swelling go down, but since I've just

started it, it seems to good to be truely helping already. Any

thoughts?

I just started leflunomide(Arvia) last week(Wednesday). In addition I'm on

Remicade, MTX, and Folic Acid. I feel better today. She said many people

that are on MTX can get benefit from it in the first two weeks. If you

aren't on MTX already she said it can take 6-8 weeks to feel it.

I haven't posted about it but I did have to discontinue it because it was

elevating my blood pressure.   linda

Hi all,

I'm on way too much medicine. Was it Arava/Leflunomide that someone warned about

higher blood pressure? Not sure if it is that or the Lyrica, but my blood

pressure shot up from my last dr. visit a couple of months ago.
