Guest guest
Dear Carol, I don't have a clue what this might be but I am hoping Ethel is around and sees this. She might have some insight for you. In the meantime, I am thinking about you. (((((hugs))))) SAndra HPUMOM1@... wrote: Dear Group: Need some advice. About 6 months ago I noticed that every so often I would get some bright bumps on my nose for no apparent reason. My skin had gotten very sensitive to hot water- I used to take very hot showers but found my face would get so dry/peel for 10 days so that I stopped using anything on it except cold water. I also noticed my cheeks would stay flushed looking after the shower for days(even when NO WATER touched the face) Now in the last month- my nose and on 1" on each side of nose crease- is getting these nasty red raised bumps for about 48 hrs then goes away. A few on the tiny bumps look like they have a tiny bit of fluid on top. I just basically leave it alone and it goes away. Then there would be a break-out again in 7-10 days. The bumps are starting to cover a much larger portion of my face- today even my chin is involved. It is nasty looking - like acne- but goes away completely in a day or so. Does this sound like LUPUS or any other connective tissue disease that involves facial skin? Guest guest
Hi Guys!! Besides the possibility of Lupus which has a BUTTERFLY shaped rash across the nose and cheeks, there is also a rash with Familial Mediterranean Fever which this might be and something called roscea which you can find w/ a search on http://www.google.com You can read about FMF on my medical website noted below. FMF has symptoms very much rheumatoid arthritis and it may produce a false positive for RA. If you would like more info on FMF, please e-mail me directly at: nmorri3924@... Guest guest
Hello.. I went through 5 years of rashes on my face, eyelids, arms, legs, but mostly face. It was diagnosed as contact dermatitis. It is much better now, but it was a constant hassle with me for a long time. Rash was bad enough, but the itching was just terrible. Guest guest
My face gets red every evening around the same time, just like the rash would do, mine has been doing that for many years, I only get the rash on my arms occasionaly, when my face gets red it also feels real hot but I dont run a fever with it. I assume it's somehow related to the rash and to stills since it occours around the same time, there is a connection somewhere to some certain cytokine and some certain hormone I just wish they would find out exactly what it is. GO DAWGS !!!!!
Guest guest
I don't know how difficult it is for someone w/ just fibromyalgia to get SSDI. I have RA and fibro and I just found out that I was approved. Granted, I have other mental and physical issues...but RA/fibro was my primary reason for going on SSDI. It's a hard descion to make. I would prefer to work, but my body was telling me that it's time. I mean no one grows up and wishes that they were on disability. --- In , " Rebel Abadie " <rebel_20012000@...> wrote: > > Thank you for your reply. I was hoping someone would reply.
