Guest guest
What pain killers can I take with mtx? I am currently hurting from a client at my work who I had to block today. I work with adults with developmental disabilities and sometimes they can be a bit rough. At this point my left wrist, left knee and my back are bothering me. I need some type of relief so I can get some sleep and be able to work tomorrow.

No side effects or raised liver levels. I have only been on MTX for about 3 weeks>> I took advil once within 3 days of my mtx dose- wouldn't recommend it. Now that I have increased my folic acid to 2mg, I find I can take it if I am 2-3 days before the next mtx dose without problems. Tylenol has no effect on me in any dosage and I have tons of pain. ~Marie
Guest guest
Hi , I have been on MTX on 3 different occiasions. My dr had & still has me on Lortab/ Viccodin. It didn't seem to cause any complications for me. So its worth a shot to discuss this with your dr. I also have been taking alieve for years & that is while I was on the MTX. --- In , " triviaplace " <renandstimpy3@...> wrote: > > What pain killers can I take with mtx? Guest guest
Thank you for the information. The last time I was on MTX I was on Percocets but due to my job I am no longer able to go on it or any type of narcotics. My job does not want us on narcotics while driving. It will void my DOT license if they found out, along with safety issues with clients. I drive 15 passenger vans and do not want to put others in danger because I was driving on a narcotic. As for the aleve I will try that. [ ] Re: OTC pain Killers and mtx Hi , I have been on MTX on 3 different occiasions. My dr had & still has me on Lortab/ Viccodin.
