Guest guest
<< . I've already had 6 cardiac arrests and I don't want to be put on life support again. My children couldn't even recognize me this last time because I was so swollen and turned so dark. I'm one tired lady tonight so I'm going to say goodnight to all and I'm going to hit the sack. >> Oh Tootie I hope you are feeling better soon. Guest guest
Tootie, you're scaring me! Take good care of yourself, girlfriend, we want you around for a long time! And if you're afraid of the ER because of issues with life support, please look into making a living will health care directive and make copies of it to give to your children, your doctors, and a few spares to take with you to the ER. This kind of document lets you specify exactly which kinds of medical interventions you do and do not want. (For example, you may be OK with an oxygen mask but not being intubated, or OK with a respirator and not a feeding tube, or OK with both of those but not shock paddles - whatever it is, you can specify it.) -- el (andrea@...) Guest guest
Dear Tootie, I lie awake at night and think about you. I'm so sorry things are so rough for you. I'm glad you are still posting. I wish I had an answer. You are right to go off medicines that are making a mess of your liver function. Hugs, Susie
