Guest guest
Hi Jo..... My liver enzymes (alt and ast) were elevated also. They were 2-3x what the high normal was. My rheumy took me off of the mtx cause he said that could cause high liver enzymes. It took awhile but started decreasing and got to the normal range after about 8 months. Now, they are fine. I take arava now also with my enbrel and am doing well on it. But I know arava can cause liver enzymes to rise too. I have bloodwork done every 3 months. My blood always runs fast also. Like water...but they never questioned me about it. Hope this helps... a ************** Start the year off right.
