Guest guest
Hi , I've never tried trimix. My surgical uro gave me Edex (pure aprostadil) which was expensive and painful but did give me erections. He refused to presicrbe bimix or trimix sine they were " not FDA approved. " I am pretty sure he got his info from the Edex salsman. I eventually changed uros. I asked for trimix but he wanted to try me on bimix at first. He said to start out with a low dose of 30 units at first. Well that gave me a5.5 hour erection and a trip to urgent care. I can get a good 3 hour erection on 15-128 units now. I realize everyone is different but bimix does work for me and there is no pain. > > To all out there, I have never posted at this site before but here goes: > > I had robotic prostatectomy on 09/11/08. Began " penile rehabilitation " once catheter out 8 days later, consisting of 25 mg viagra dose daily and trimix penile injections 2x/wk. Penile injections are painful at times, had to cut back dose to tolerate the stinging pain. Are really bimix injections better? Asked urologist about it, he said OK if i wanted to but said erections wouldn't be as good. I said I would tough it out for sake of the better erections. Can you get decent erections with bimix? The erections with trimix are pretty good, do allow for penetration sex with wife........... >

Guest guest
FWIW -- I was pretty sore with Caverject (alprostadil). Not " stinging pain " , but soreness throughout my penis. With bi-mix (phentolamine + papaverine), my erections are just as good, and I'm not sore at all. The only way to find out if it will work _for you_ is to try it. > > To all out there, I have never posted at this site before but here goes: > > I had robotic prostatectomy on 09/11/08.
