Enbrel Side Effect Question

I was switched from Humera to Enbrel about two months ago. Last Sunday

I had painful tingling and numbness in my right thumb. Within 4 hours

my entire right side was numb. Had CT Scan, Echocardiogram, Caratoid

Artery Test and brain MRI. Has anyone else on these injectable

arthritis meds ever experienced this? How long did it last?

We have had occasional reports of similar side effects related to the

anti-TNF biologics from members of our group.

What were the results of your tests? Are you still using Enbrel?

Going to see the neurologist first this coming thursday but the tests

were tuesday and no one called with anything serious. Just in case I

am not taking my enbrel shot this week and will be talking to my RA

specialist on Monday. The ER doc said he had never seen anything like

this before and the Neurologist was stumped too when he saw me in the

ER last Monday.
