Guest guest
, Wal-Mart handles it. I think Safeway used to be the distributer until they sorta fell apart. Cy, the Ancient okie... Guest guest
Oh my, this is too funny. (LOL) The reason I asked the question was that there really is a cheese bread. The cheese is mixed into the bread dough before the bread is baked and I just wondered is that particular type of bread was lower in carburetors. What we need to find are some low carb grits... (LOL) Cy, the Ancient okie... Re: Ideas for breakfast No!, I meant exactly what I said. Unless it is an open face cheese sandwich, I call all sandwiches sandwiches, because they have two pieces of bread with something between both pieces of bread. Now my toaster oven has a feature on it called toast, and I can lay a piece of bread on the rack and put cheese on top. Then I just press the toast lever and it broils on top, melting the chees and toasts on the bottom. When it is done I have a complete piece of cheese toast. Guest guest
Yes, it is those carburetors which cause your blood sugar to rise (LOL) A four barrel carb is worse than a two barrel one. I can not imagine what happens when it is fuel injected...(smile)... Cy, the Ancient okie... Guest guest
I don't think so, cy. Ihave a recipe for cheesy, garlic bread. It is really good, but alas, rather high in carbs! Guest guest
Pepperidge farm used to make a bread called oatmeal bread and it only had 9 carbs. I really liked it but suddenly it disappeared from all the stores. I sent an email to pepperidge farm and asked them about the oatmeal bread but they never answered the email. so another good bread with low carbs disappeared. Has anyone ever heard of it? Guest guest
If you look at the exchange list, you can find cold cereals and fruits which I often combine. I also sometimes have an egg and light bread toast or pancakes--I think you can have 2 4-inch pan cakes. If I use jelly, I either use sugarless jelly or All Fruit. Sometimes I have cottage cheese and a fruit. I have to admit, though, that most of the time I just have oat meal because I like it. I like having Cherios, too. I'm sure there are choices that might be better, but I follow the exchange list and don't have a problem. Ideas for breakfast > I'm looking for some ideas for breakfast besides hot cereal. Guest guest
I make this to feed my whole family. 's one dish breakfast: Take one half medium onion, chopped, one half green pepper, chopped, one unpeeled potato diced, any left over chicken or ham or you can use turkey bacon or sausage, six eggs, well beaten and a couple of slices of cheese. Spray a skillet with cooking spray. I use nonstick skillets even though they say you shouldn't. Heat the pan and add the vegetables, let them cook until they begin to soften. Add the meat and continue cooking. Add the beaten eggs which have been seasoned to taste. Finish cooking as for scrambled eggs adding the cheese at the end.. When I fix this, we usually don't have toast because we don't need it. You can vary the ingredients according to your own preferences.
