Visit to medical oncologist

Having been to the urologist, radiation (imrt) oncologist and planning to

visit Bloomington (PBR) tomorrow, I wanted at least one unbiased opinion so

today I consulted with a medical oncologist concerning my various treatment

options. He was aware of protons but his bottom line was " The difference

between PBR and IMRT is so minute that it's not worth the effort and expense

to drive to Bloomington " . He did elaborate on side-effects of surgery vs.

radiation and said that side effects from radiation take a long time to show

up. Hopefully there won't be any!

I'll report on what I find in Blooming shortly.
