I have not noticed much changes as it may relate to the weather, but my mom was

experiencing a decrease in appetite, which is usually very good, and we found

she had become dehydrated. After pushing fluids she did get better, just FYI

I was wondering if anyone has a loved one that doesn't eat when the weather is

cold & rainy or just rainy? Seems like my aunt doesn't eat when we get this type

of weather. The last 2 weeks it's been changing from cold to warm up & down with

temps & very rainy. She hasn't ate or drank much in this time, and I am worried.

I don't know if it's just a coincidence or not, but it just seems like when we

get nasty weather, her eating habits decline. She doesn't moan out very much

anymore, but I still think she is in pain. She has osteoarthris also.

I do push fluids, but sometimes she just will not take them. She has always

been a good drinker when it comes to variety of juices etc. Most of the time

she will drink & not eat. But these last 2 weeks she doesn't do much of either.

I guess no one else has any issues with weather changes & eating I take it? I

also found a big ulcer on the inside of her lip, I am hoping this is the reason

for eating & drinking less. I pray once it's healed she resumes her appetite.
