Guest guest
Great news for you, go for it, I'm not sure what the creatinine number is measuring (kidney function maybe?) but I know about the PSA. My first post-op PSA was .01, yay, getting another test in January, have to have test every 3 months for the first year, once/year after that, hope the number stays down. Doctor said anything under .1 was fine, under .07 was even better. My doctor said the prostate Ca was T2a, no signs of spread anywhere, but you know how that goes. I think the doctors want to be as positive as they can be sometimes. Hope he is right!wonderwhat wrote: This has been a whirlwind couple of weeks. Been on vacation visiting family in Houston. Got my latest post-op PSA and creatinine numbers. They were great! PSA was double donuts again (0.0) and creatinine was 0.9! Also found out that I am going to be grandpa for the 7th time.Steve S in Arkansas
Guest guest
,The creatinine is kidney function. Doctor told me that if my 6 month post-op was good, I could switch to every 6 months. I was T1a on mine with a Gleason 6 (3+3). The only thing that would have worked better was if I had not developed a urinary tract infection because the foley slipped (bulb lost pressure). I still have severe ED and have filed another appeal with my insurance to get the 5 mg dose of Cialis. Got the free month supply from the website (with doctor's scrip). Been a bit slower recovery than I expected, but the doctor says I am ahead of the curve in MOST ways, behind a bit in others.Look forward to enjoying my grandkids for a long time to come (3 boys, 3 girls!).Happy New Year!Steve S in ArkansasTo: ProstateCancerSupport Sent: Friday, December 26, 2008 10:34:36 PMSubject: Re: Great news!
