I would think it makes since to do surgery on the cervix also. I know you

know more about it than myself. I was quite surprised when my doctor told me

when I asked (I hope you don't need surgery). I told you supposedly he

" poked " through the scar tissue with an instrument last appointment. It had

to be successful enough to get my uterine sample. It sounds like " poking "

through anything would cause MORE scaring. What do you think?

ph my husband has so much faith in UCLA.I must admit with all my other

medical problems it gives me comfort to know their facility is very well

suited if I had another cardiac arrest, or uncontrolled hemorrhage during a

surgical procedure. This is a large part of why he and myself are a bit

worried about going to a non - hospital facility. I am not sure if you are

aware of this but I have organ damage including severe lung damage, which

puts me at a very high risk any time I under go a surgical procedure. I was

quoted a 50% chance of cardiac arrest when undergoing anesthesia. I take two

inhalers and one pill for my breathing every day. Before surgery they make

me bring both inhalers incase my breathing is disrupted during the process.

These factors have to be considered and are a MAJOR reason we are going

where we are for my treatment. I wish I felt comfortable is choosing freely

the RE or uterine surgeon, however my physical problems go far beyond the

scope of uterine.

We are defiantly not going to ignore the idea of a second opinion. We want

to meet with my current Re and discuss matters in much more detail.

Additionally, any A list Doctors we choose as our second opinion MUST accept

Medicare insurance because I am classified as a Major Medical Risk and this

is the only way I can be insured. Can you find out for me if this insurance

is accepted? (If it is not too much trouble?) We also have another strike

against us because our finances are limited due to my husband being a full

time information systems student. He is also partially disabled.

Unfortunately our finances have us extremely compromised.

Please let me know if there are more options that you know of for my

health concerns. Write soon please Lynnette
