The issue is that Vitamin D is not a vitamin at all. For people with

immune issues, Vitamin D is actually aggravating to the immune system

because it allows bacteria to thrive. They do suggest a low carb diet,

to not feed the bacteria sugar, but I am not doing a low carb diet as

I am a vegetarian.

Even miners in mineshafts get enough vitamin D, so I think this is a

false alarm.
