Guest guest
Greetings: Three days ago my wife was admitted to the hospital. She had a high fever and tremendous pain. I thought it might be her UC acting up, but after an ERCP she was diagnosed with PSC. The research I did on the internet was (to say the very least) discouraging. They all said the same thing - there is no treatment, except for a liver tansplant. She is resting at home now. They have her on Ursodoil and a couple of strong antibiotics for the infection. As I have read through some of the postings, it seems that this disease slowly progresses, but at times can quickly become critical. Are there any suggestions on diet, preparation, or new treatments. Thanks Marc
