Guest guest
Hi Lynn, I haven't been online much. The nurse came last night she said her vitals were good her breathing rate was 8. Today it dropped to 6, I was napping beside her, and noticed her head was moving & her shoulder was moving up it scared me too death. I felt horrible I had fell asleep. I called a nurse out the road she came over, but by then she had stopped. Hasn't done it again since, and I pray she doesn't. Her breathing rate is back up to 8 I just wish she would take something in. I try to give her fluids by syringe, but she doesn't take them, so I use the little sponge thing. Her vitals are good again, her pulse rate is doing better than yesterday. I think her color looks good. Last night when I got up to check on her about 3:00 am her eyes were staring down to the pillow, I don't know if she was half asleep or awake. Today she hasn't done that. The nurse said with the weather how it is in raining, her thrush, and possible uti, it may be that she just wants to sleep until the weather clears. She said and the antibiotics may start working. Really it's only been a day & half with the new suppositories so maybe tomorrow Lord willing she will act better. I just hope it's in time each day that passes with nothing in her is bad. The nurse said the antibiotics & keeping her mouth moist will help. I just wish we had those antibiotics from the getgo. Thanks for checking in, I'm still hanging on, Beth For Beth - Checking in Hi, Beth. How is your aunt today? Do you see any changes with the antibiotics? And, how are you? Did you get any rest last night. Know you are not alone. Best wishes, Lynn in Florida
Guest guest
Hi, Beth. Don't feel bad about falling asleep. You're under enough of a strain without going sleepless, too. If you get sick because you haven't taken care of yourself, that wouldn't be good for your aunt. I know it's hard but you need rest. Could one of your aunt's sisters sit with her while you get some rest? Please keep us posted on how both of you are doing. You are not alone... Guest guest
Hi, Beth. The nurse may be right. A lot of people, including me, have trouble getting over things when the sun is absent. Your aunt is so lucky to have you with her. I'm sure she knows it and blesses you for it. Sending you a big cyber hug!! Kate > ** > > > Hi Lynn, > > I haven't been online much. Guest guest
Hi Kate, Thank you for your lovely message, it means so much to me! Well I have some good news, she is taking fluids by syringe, her vitals are good, her breathing rate is good. I Praise God for that! The nurse said she is doing much better, and the antibiotics are working! I know that God touched her with his healing mercy last night as we prayed. I felt the Holy Spirit with us as we layed hands on her. My aunt held her sisters hand so tightly & she has never done that before! I know that was God speaking to her & giving her strength. When it's raining my aunt always tends to want to sleep & not eat, it's been her pattern for years, but with the thrush & uti, it's been a struggle. The nurse said my aunts tummy was growling she is hungry, so I am giving her some chicken broth today along with her other fluids. I don't want to try anything heavy. She isn't taking anything by spoon yet, but she will, I have no doubt. I know each day she will get better & get through this! Glory be to God! I know we all one day will go be with the Lord, but now is not the time for my aunt. Big huge Hugs to everyone that has gave me support it's been my rock! Love, Beth & auntie Eula <3 > > > ** > > > > > > Hi Lynn, > > > > I haven't been online much. The nurse came last night she said her vitals > > were good her breathing rate was 8.
