Guest guest
Hi...I just talked to the Arthritis Foundation, and they do not use a specific color for RA. They do use the traditional blue for all arthritis in a rubber wrist band, and are currently promoting a lapel button to wear that simply says " 46 " which means there are 46 million documented diagnosed cases of arthritis in the US. They say the intent behind the " 46 " button is to open a dialogue with folks when they ask, " What does '46' mean? " Anyone can call the Arthritis Foundation to request these. The lady I spoke with has RA herself and thought a seperate color ribbon to bring awareness to RA and other autoimmune related arthritis' was a good idea. Love... Guest guest
I have a rubber wrist band for fibromyalgia and its so uncomfortable I cannot wear it. I did end up purchasing on ebay a beaded bracelet with crystals and hanging purple ribbon charms. Much more comfortable! I cannot wear the rubber one at all:( --- mercycove@... wrote: > Hi...I just talked to the Arthritis Foundation, and > they do not use a specific color for RA.
