My rheumatologist didn't seem too concerned about the numbers. No, she

doesn't know that my internist gave me MTX and Predisone. The pain is

unrelenting

24/7 in my lumbar/sacral. She said the arthritis is very

severe. I can not have any injections right now because when I tried one in

December it sent my anxiety off the charts and my CNS didn't calm down for at

least 6 days and the pain doc would not do one when I saw her on Monday. And

I don't want to take Vicodin.

I am thinking I really should not be taking the MTX. I took 3 2.5 mgs.

pills on Tuesday out of desperation. And I don't think I will take any next

Tuesday. This morning I took the mgs. of Pred. at 8 am and I got pain relief

until around 2 this afternoon.

I feel like I am on a doctor merry go round. Any suggestions? Meg
