So sorry you are going thru this traumatic horrific event - we just went thru it

and Dad died on December 16, 2011 - just a month ago.

When Hospice comes in, they will give morphine to stop the agitation. Once they

stop eating and drinking it can take 2 days to 7 days to pass away. It took our

Dad 9 days.

Dad fell and went in hospital for one week, then Rehab nursing home, then home,

then 6 weeks of hospice, then died.

Good Luck and you will have the strength when you need it most.
