Guest guest
Phyllis, I had cataract surgery yesterday so had to delete most posts instead of reading them, but your post caught my eye. Keep on hanging in! After 4-5 days without any cigarettes, I pretty much had it licked back in 1994 when I managed to quit. The nicotine doesn't stay in your body very long. After the craving for that is gone, it's just the physical act of smoking that you miss. I started chewing sugarless gum instead, and that helped give my mouth something to do. Try to do something else to distract you at those times when you used to enjoy smoking the most. I'm pulling for you, and I know you can do it! You go, girl!
