Guest guest
A few people in the local support group who have PSP are being given this medication. It is used for the treatment of psueobulbar affect (PBA), which is emotional lability, or inappropriate laughing and crying. One issue for some of them has been the fact that Nuedexta can't be taken with an SSRI, so people had to change antidepressants in some cases. (I wrote the same response to your post on the LBDA Forum today.) > > My mom is having rapid cycles of crying, moaning, being scared, etc. The doctor is thinking about trying Nuedexta (http://www.nuedexta.com/) - does anyone have any experience with this behaviour or this drug? > > Thanks > >
