Guest guest
Hi Bonnie, That's good advice. As soon as I find out what my treatment will be, I'll give that a try. I checked the Wal Mart list of $4 with the names of drugs I see that a lot of you are taking and I don't see much on their list. Pred is on there but that was about it. It seems they have the " safe " and non controversial drugs on the list. I'll keep checking though. See what I come up with when I get the DX. Thanks to all of you who have been concerned enough for me that you've taken the time to write back and also to research on my behalf. I'm in uncharted waters and I do honestly appreciate all your help. Take care, Sharon in NJ > > Sharron, > I think you can apply to get free or discounted drugs from the drug > manufactures if you can't afford them yourself... Guest guest
Sharon, If the link doesn't work just do a general search for " New Jersey Family Care " . I would think that it is www.njfamilycare.org. I know alot of people who have had a difficult time getting approved for SSDI. Back injuries are hard to prove or disprove. Since RA is a known dibilitating disease, it can be easier to prove the need for disability. I have other health issues besides RA, like fibromyalgia. About a year and half ago, I had a minor laperscopic procedure to remove from cysts and my bowel was punctured. I ended up going septic and spending a month in a coma and a few more months in the hospital having multiple repair surgeries. That alone left me w/ a large hernia and I suffer from anxiety and post tramatic stress disorder. The main reason for me going in SSDI was the RA/fibro. My symptoms were manageable until I got sick. After I got out the hospital, my RA/fibro symptoms were worse. I don't know if something w/ the sepsis changed how my body perseved pain, but I knew I had reached my breaking point. I applied for SSDI. I am thankful that I got approved quickly. Keep me posted. Take care. > > > Hi , > > I tried that link you sent and there was an error message saying it > doesn't exist anymore.
