I don't take Sulfasalazine, but I get my labs done every 3 months, I am on

MTX and Humira at this time.

Hello everyone! When I began Sulfasalazine, my

rheumatologist had me go for a CBC with differentials

to get a baseline reading. Once I began taking the

medication, I had to go every two weeks to a local

hospital to have a CBC with differentials done. Last

time I saw my rheumatologist three months ago, she was

leaving the hospital and advised I would be

transferred to someone else. She said that since my

results had been fine on all prior CBC's that I could

have my labs done once a month. Today I saw the new

rheumatologist and she advised that a CBC with

differentials only needs to be done every 3 months.

Does this correspond to what the rest of you that take

Sulfasalazine does? I thank you for any input!
