I'm sorry you are having a rough time, Dawn.

Yes, RA patients can benefit from switching to another TNF inhibitor.

Hi Dawn,

I, too started out with Enbrel (I was on it for about 6 months - more

trouble for ME than it was worth) but I had to go off it for many,

many reasons, so my rhuemy switched me to Humira. Unfortunatley, for

me, I had a lot of the same problems with Humira that I did with

Enbrel. Now, that was ME - a lot of other people don't have the

problems that I do. I didn't stay on the Humira but for about 2

months. I then went on to try Rituxan. That was, at least for me, a

very easy drug to take. You had to have an infusion for it - probably

a lot like getting Remicade, although that is a drug that I have NOT

had. I didn't mind taking the Rituxan, but I never saw one day -

period - of any relief from my symptons, so my sweet doctor is

referring me to a new rhuemy next month at a medical university.

Good Luck! I think we would all give something to have some less

pain free days!!
