Guest guest
Hi My name is Ellie a single mother of two children and I was diagnosed (which waa self diagnosis)with RA for 5 years now. I have most pain in my Right knee and left ankle. I have been told that I need a knee replacement but that I am so young to be getting one at my age 33. I am frustrated being in so much pain and none of the drugs I take seem to be working for me. I know that if I did not take them I would probabaly be in a wheel chair by now but I am still in so much pain and find it difficult to deal with the pain. I do take Vicoden (norco) 4 times a day just to be able to make it to shower and use the bathroom. I feel so frustrated and alone. I have recently felt more depressed than ever crying a lot. I know I am not alone. Is there anyone out there that has any tips for pain managment. I do swim when i can but sometimes it is impossible for me to even get out of bed. Does anyone have any suggestions?
