Guest guest Posted June 12, 2012 Report Share Posted June 12, 2012 Hello everyone, I continue to read this forum and think often about you and your loved ones. died February 21 and I still haven't taken it all in. I'm just grateful he didn't have to suffer to the full extent this disease would have taken him. He did, indeed, have Lewy Body based on the autopsy that was done at UCSF. Had he not contracted multiple myeloma, I imagine he would have continued to deteriorate to the point at which he needed to go to a nursing home. I'm so grateful he was able to be at home. Please know that my empathy and care extends to you all and my respect for your long term care giving is deep and sincere. 's memorial is coming up on the 24 of June and I am looking forward to celebrating him and his life with friends and his fellow scientific co-workers.
