And when you say - until these level out - what does that mean exactly? Sorry to be so vague but my brain is really is a bad way right now. I need things spelled out for me so I can understand properly. thanks. Mo NOVA Counselling & Healing Services

The fluctuations are too much showing unsupported adrenals. So iam taking 10, 7 1.2, 5 and 2 1.2, should I take the extra 2 1/2 with the first dose of the daY. Guest guest
I would add in more when ever you are feeling worst. Having trouble sleeping? Take it at bedtime or with last dose, if you feel shaky in the mornings add it then. I would add it for a week, then take temps for a week, and see what it looks like then. THEN if it is still fluctuating do another 2.5 MG increase. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV My Ebay Jewelry Store (Closing after Xmas!!!) http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

Guest guest
mo it really doesn;'t take much to stress the adrenals when they are already weak. Add to that HYPO and weak and you have the combo many of us get stuck in. I was just posting to a gal on the STTM forums this AM that her doc gave her 10MG Cortef and after 2 months took her off and can;t figure out WHY her adrenals aren;t healed! Oh but it should be THAT simple! I explained to her that first you have to take ENOUGH Cortef to allow the adrenals to totally rest. Then while they are in resting mode you have to optimize the thyroid. They must be totally supported to be able to do that. THEN you can taper off the HC in a couple weeks of well tuned thyroid. Your going hypo probably put your adrenals back 6 months. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV My Ebay Jewelry Store (Closing after Xmas!!!) http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

I tried to ask it yesterday and then noticed afterwards that I made a type in that particular post and the question got lost as a consequence. Guest guest
>>Should I be thinking of increasing every other week if the temps don't reach ..2 difference?<< Yes >>And keep going until I get to 35 mg if necessary. And if the temps don't reach this goal then that means what exactly? What serious problem? and why does it have to do with being a woman?<< Yes up to 35MG a day some women need. If temps do not level out by 35MG a day held for a while I would suspect 's and possibly a need for stronger meds (pred, or Medrol or Florinef added in). The reason I put this for women is that men need higher levels of cortisol than women do, thus they may top out at 40MG a day and I know of one guy that is tipping 45 per Dr Peatfield's instructions. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV My Ebay Jewelry Store (Closing after Xmas!!!) http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
