my husband has thalassemia, which is treated by folic acid. my children also

have it and have taken the folic acid since they were one. when this report

first came out last year, my husband was undergoing chemotherapy for colon

cancer. we ask the oncologist/blood doctor about the study. he said the

benefits outweighs the cause of concern. what do you do????? the doctor could

not even give a straight answer. rita
