Hi DeeDee,

I was on prednisone (5-10 mg, I think) with my second child, and saw Dr.

Sayers. I was not told about the possibility of cleft palate. Maybe that is a

recent finding, as is the possibility of getting diabetes from prednisone (which

wasn't known before either).

How high of prednisone doses did you take and did you stay on humira or embrel?

I have a 4 year old and was on 14 mg of prednisone the entire pregnancy but was

just told

last week that prednisone can cause cleft palete??? (never heard that before).

I am on 6 mg of prednisone and humira weekly doses.

any information would be so appreciated!!
