Hi Chris! I am sorry to read about what you have been going through. Have you

had any other tests to check that it is NOT a heart/lung problem or perhaps your

gallbladder causing the pain? I remember having gallstones in 1992 and the pain

was so severe that I passed out at work! I hope your doctors are looking at

every reason you could be in pain and not just this awful disease. Are you

seeing a therapist? Taking anything for depression?

There seems to be alot of compassion lacking amongst medical professionals when

it comes to the word " pain " . I would never wish for anyone to go through what I

am right now however I wish that there would be more people who could EMPATHIZE.

((((BIG GENTLE HUG)))) You are not alone, Chris.

[ ] Still in pain

Hey all here. Well I was turned down at the pain clinic today.

They said there was nothing they could do medically for me. I think

they prejudged me because I'm in recovery. Well I went to my rhumy and

he increased my Lyrica to the max 300 mg twice a day. It hasn't

worked . I am still in extreme pain in my chest from fibro. My rhumy

steered me to another pain clinic...I hope they are more compassionate

to me. I have been in pain eveyday for 3 months straight now. I am not

eating or sleeping and depressed because of the constant pain. All I

want is some relief even for an hour would be a blessing. The

depression is getting really bad I can't do anything because the pain

is constant and feels like a heart attack all the time. They have run

several tests on my heart and it is fine but with the chest pain all

the time and arm pain I get panicy about it being my heart and the

pain gets worse. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. I am

glad there is this group to talk to I kinda isolate myself and don't

have anyone to talk to. Well I feel better now having gotten this out.

Hope you all are well.

God Bless,

Chris
