Guest guest
Hi Ebony,I am sorry about the PE,that is a hard one.I don't have personal experence with that one, but I have had pleurisy, feels like broken ribs.My RA is the moderate to sever kind.I was first dx .with Hashimoto's w/goiter,then Lupus,RA,andSjogren's.also IBS is one of those things that can come from any autoimmune disease.I have had ,at times severe depression. My RA has never gone into remission, however it hard to tell which disease process is causing which symptoms. My MD's treat me symptomatically, and try to help keep pain at a minimum. The docs I see are, GP /Rheummy /Ortho /Neuro /Pain management. My pain mgt.guy told me that chronic pain is the #1 cause of suicide in this country. It is very important to try to get pain under control. If you are not seeing someone in pain management,I would recomend asking your rheummy for a referral. Also ,the research posts in this group are an excellent, source of info. RA is a frightening dx,and I think knowledge is power over fear. Thanks for the response,it's good to share,Sherry --------------------------------- Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Search.
