Hi Debbie,

Have the nodules grown in the past year? What size are they? I have no

personal experience with RAI, my sister had it and was " heck " on her. I do

know some people on two thyroid boards with some " horror " stories about

RAI. I guess my though would be if they haven't grown why poison your

body? Just my two cents, you need to do what you feel is right for

your...but I recommend research and maybe a second opinion.

I got clearance to go for an US once a year now...my thyroid nodules

haven't grown in the past two years. Largest is holding steady at

7mm. Takes 1cm for a FNA.
