Guest guest Posted March 8, 2008 Report Share Posted March 8, 2008 Hi everyone, As much as I wish minocycline would work for me, my disease seems to be getting worse. I am more open to mtx now and here are some tips I've received from doctor friends. 1. Get your pulmonary function checked out with chest x-rays. 2. Get immunized. I have the pneumonia and flu shot. Thinking about the shingles vaccine. 3. Get a TB test. All clear, ready to go. I guess this info is already here but I feel real strongly about the TB test because two of my friends who had no symptoms came up positive on a test.
