Guest guest
Debbie, Sorry you are going off thyroid hormone. What is the doctor going to do? Was there growth in the tissue in the past year? Being off thyroid hormone causes you to be hypo..hypo causes joint pain. I hope you have forewarned your hubby that your emotions will be upside down :-( Glad to hear your scan was normal, that's great news. Guest guest
Hi Kate, Thanks for your reply. I posted this note mostly for you Kate. Last year had a neck ultrasound and it showed I have two small nodules in my former thyroid bed. The scan picked them up, also. That's why my endo wants me to get the RAI treatment to get rid of them. Hype symptoms are very similiar to fibromyalgia also. Debbie L > > Debbie, > > Sorry you are going off thyroid hormone. Guest guest
Hi Kate, Don't think my tiny nodules have grown. The ultrasound last year just found them. Have to find the report and see if they were measured. Didn't get an US this year though. My previous RAI gave me horrible heartburn and nausea for several days. Told my endo about it and he said if I didn't vomit from it, then it would be ok. Right now my stomach is totally burning anyway. Waiting for my GI doctor to call back. Tomorrow will research the RAI and then maybe get a second opinion. Debbie J > > Hi Debbie, > > Have the nodules grown in the past year? What size are they?
