Guest guest
Hi Judy, My Mom is losing what we call 'the chew' - the ability to chew her food. Over time, I'm noticing it's been getting worse.. we are pureeing stuff for her, and it goes down more easily. Thankfully she is still drinking her Ensure, even though it takes a long time to feed her. I, too, am curious as to when our loved ones lose the ability to swallow completely.... Hugs to you, Helene in NY > > Hi , > > I appreciate your help with the food issue and I am so sorry to hear about > the most recent loss of your husband.
