New to this group...and Rheumatoid

Hi my name is and I'm new to Rheumtoid. I've been displaying

symptoms of Rheumatoid for four years, and about a month ago seven of

my joints inflammed and I was diagnose a week ago. I'm 26 years old

and tired. I have been put on Methotrexate and Prednisone they have

also given me darvoset for pain.

My question is how long does it normally take to get acclimated to the

medication, I'm really having a hard time feeling good enough to lead a

half way normal day. Is this just the way it is or is there light at

the end of the tunnel? And the swelling in my hands hasn't decreased

at all.

Any advice?
