Guest guest
I haven't had problems with this but my sister in law says she can't sleep and climbs the walls when she has to take a large dose for her asthma. Guest guest
Hi there, I've had to go back on prednisone myself, and it's only 2.5 mg. I get absolutely evil when I have too much, and that's going over 2 months at this dose. I take it in the morning, have had no problems other than a headache. Guest guest
Shandi, I hear you. The last time I was on predisone I couldn't sleep. I ended up doing a scrapbook of when I was in Europe. I finally had to ask my doctor for some sleep aids since OTC sleep aids, teas, valerium root etc...didn't work. I have really bad insomnia and I cry at the drop of a hat and gain weight. Talk to your rheumy about your side effects, hopefully they will be willing to help you out. --- In , " S. Guest guest
Shandi, I don't know if its an option for you or not, but I started doing beginners yoga every other night (as able) and it has really helped me to relax and my sleep has improved from three- four hours per night to at least six.... Thats enough proof for me to continue... I actually attend a class every thursday night, and I use a beginners tape the rest of the time... Of course, some nights I'm just not able but I try to do my best because the results are amazing... Just a suggestion Bonnie --- In , " S.
