Guest guest Posted February 6, 2008 Report Share Posted February 6, 2008 I started 200mg at the end of November when diagnosed with RA. My hands and wrists had been painful for about a year but with no swelling. On Jan 21st I realized that the pain was almost gone (pain is relative since I have fibro too!) and I could do things that I had not been able to do for a while. I have continued the daily dosage, but now I'm finding that the original symptoms are coming back. If I miss a dose by even a couple of hours, my hands start. Is this typical with Plaquenil? Is it really that sensitive to dosage level or is something else going on??
