Three grains & holding...Val?

Hi Val & All,

I know we've addressed this before, but I can't recall. (And I posted

this recently but think it got lost in the Internet ethers...sorry if

it's a repeat.)

I'm at 3 grains for just about 3 weeks now. How long should I hold on

before increasing?

In the past, I've moved up too quickly, I think. For me I think it

takes a while for the T4 to get where it's going. But that was always

without the HC.

My mid-day temps are hovering around 98.1-98.3.

It's also hard for me to tell just how hypo I still am, because a lot

of the symtpoms I used to attribute to hypo were resolved with adrenal

support.

But I still am experiencing LOW MOTIVATION, which shouts hypo to me.

And after my HC wears off from my last afternoon dose, I literally

feel my thryoid " growing " in my throat, like it's swelling because

it's working hard " after hours " . So, obviously my thyroid is NOT

suppressed right now at 3 grains.

Also for consideration...I am planning on trying iodine, but plan to

wait until after my next menstrual cycle (period expected on the

11/25), so that I don't " help " the progesterone levels (I understand

from another forum that iodine can help regulate progesterone) - I

need to get an accurate reading of how low it is.

So given that, I don't know if I should hold at 3 grains through my

next menstrual cycle & suffer through it or what.

Sorry...I've written a book here, as usual...

Thanks!

Warmly,
