this what prednisone does to you.i am on 10 mg also.it makes my face round.also

Unfortunately its a lovely side effect of prednisone!

Weight gain and puffiness. My doctor rarely ever

gives me prednisone, and is used very infrequently and

only as a last resort. Luckily, when I stop taking

it, my puffiness goes away within a few weeks.

Hello, I was on Prednisone for a long time also. The puffy face is also called

moon face. Prednisone, helped my RA so much, but it damaged the rest of me, it

caused an adrenaline problem which now I have to take a beta blocker for so I

do not end up having a heart attack. It has also deteriated my bones. I was on

it for 6 years. I highly reccomend staying away from it as much as possible.
