Specialty: Urologic oncology, robotic prostatectomy, cryotherapy,

partial nephrectomy, cystectomy, and bladder reconstruction.

Dr. Herbert Ruckle completed his

urology residency training at Loma

University

Medical Center

in 1992, followed by a fellowship in urologic oncology at the Mayo Clinic. He

joined the full-time faculty at Loma University School of Medicine in

August 1993. Since 2002 Dr. Ruckle has served as Director of the Urology

Residency Program and Chief of the Division. He is an authority in urological oncology and,

in addition to an extremely busy clinical practice, sits on several cancer

committees and task forces. He lectures extensively to medical students,

residents, and community groups and takes a leadership role in ongoing research

in urologic oncology at LLU. Dr. Ruckle has presented papers at national and

international professional society meetings and authored numerous scientific

articles and textbook chapters.

Dr. Barken will interview Professor Ruckle and open

the discussion to audience questions. Listeners are encouraged to post

any questions, particularly those about various diagnostic and therapeutic

procedures.
