Travel concession for PLHAS

Dear FORUM,

GHTM - Tambaram - Chennai is extending the facility of issuing railway passes at

50 % concession rates to those who access the ART center once a month from

various parts of the city and also the concession is given to one of the

care-giver who can accompany the beneficiary. Suggest that the arrangement they

have entered with the railways could be studied and replicated to other states.

This facility is there right from April 2004 - when the NACO - free ART roll

out was introduced.
