Guest guest Posted December 16, 2008 Report Share Posted December 16, 2008 Men with low incomes are more likely to have advanced prostate cancer when they get a diagnosis, probably because they don't receive screenings to catch the cancer in earlier stages, researchers from UCLA said. In a study of 570 men in a program that provides high-quality care to poor or underinsured men, 19 percent had metastatic cancer when it was diagnosed.
