Guest guest
Hi, posted before but no replies... Has anyone else who has weaned off HC found it impossible to do so while doing aerobic exercise? I walked the other day for only 30 minutes at 3.0 miles an hour, and the next three days were totally shot. I guess I have to give up even this mild aerobic exercise during the weaning process, then, right? I can't lose weight unless I exercise so for the next 20 weeks I think that means I won't be able to lose weight. Is there something I can do to be able to do mild aerobic exercise (not hard, just mild) during the weaning process? Thanks, Cherwyn
Guest guest
I would think that if you are unable to tolerate exercise it means that your adrenals are still not healed whether weaning or not Lynda aerobic exercise while weaning off HC > Hi, posted before but no replies... > > Has anyone else who has weaned off HC found it impossible to do so > while doing aerobic exercise? Guest guest
Cherwyn, all I have read says exercise to tolerance. SO no one can tell you what your tolerance is. I would suggest that if you are still feeling bad after walking exercise youare not ready to come off adrenal support, but that is just my opinion. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV My Ebay Jewelry Store (Closing after Xmas!!!) http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Cherwyn, Try lowering your rate to 2.5 mph or maybe even 2.0 and just walk a little longer, say 30 minutes instead of 20 minutes, or 45 minutes at 2.0 instead of 30 minutes at 3.0. I've gotten into the habit of hopping on the treadmill when somebody calls me. I walk while I'm on the phone at a slow rate. It's easy to get in 15 or 20 minutes or longer at a slower rate doing that and I don't even notice it. I find that I still can't do 3.0 mph either. I used to walk at 4.0 mph before all my problems started but even then I would pay for it sometimes. I actually think that even though I was feeling pretty good a couple of years ago, that the really heavy exercising I was doing contributed to my adrenal problems. I've been doing some reading regarding exercising and adrenal problems and that seems to be the consensus, don't stop, just adjust to your needs, and slow it down. I find that I don't have any problem working with weights, I can do that all day long, it's the aerobic stuff that kicks my butt. So far my adjustments seem to be working. I'm actually looking forward to working out and feeling like it's doing me some good again.
