Guest guest
Greetings friends. As some of you know from prior posts I have been struggling with my rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, depression and anxiety/panic disorder. All this on top of being recently widowed at 43, losing my job, my apartment, just an all around horrid year. Recently, I have been battling with Medicaid to get my prescriptions and finally they came through! I am now on something for my pain, my fibromyalgia, my depression and the anxiety. Maybe after a couple of days of being back on my medications I will start to feel human again! One problem and maybe someone else has had this situation. I had blood work done for Disability, and the doctor called to tell me my calcium level was ONLY 5! He told me to go to my primary doctor and I did. They want me to get more blood work to verify the levels, but I have terrible tingling in my feet and hands and spasms all over my muscles. In my research, I see that low calcium can cause this. Has anyone else had this occur? If so, what did they do for it? Just another reminder - I had Gastric Bypass Surgery (for weight loss.I lost 325 pounds) and I don't absorb things internally the same way most people do. Anyway, thank you all for the concerns and prayers. Keep them up. I am still facing homelessness and scared to death. In Friendship, Lou ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ " I used to be dyslexic. Guest guest
Hi ! I am so glad that you were able to get your medications! I have RA/FMS/CFS/MPS and a panic anxiety disorder and generalized anxiety disorder. I'm going on my second year of CBT therapy to see if that helps me feel like I am not jumping out of my skin 24 hours a day seven days a week. I had my first anxiety attack in 4th grade and I'm 36 now. I hope you begin to see improvement with the FMS soon! I know anxiety is really bad for it but when we have a disorder on top of the pain conditions it makes it even more challenging! --- Lou <cindylouwho777@...> wrote: > Greetings friends. > > > > As some of you know from prior posts I have been > struggling with my > rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, depression and > anxiety/panic disorder. > All this on top of being recently widowed at 43, > losing my job, my > apartment, just an all around horrid year. > Recently, I have been battling > with Medicaid to get my prescriptions and finally > they came through!
