Mine were originally 9's and now they are 10's, as RA goes on sometimes your

feet flatten out and sometimes when you are in a flare with the swelling it is

always nice to have a pair of shoes a bit bigger then what you would normally

wear.

no they are not all open toed. you can only buy at speciality sas stores.they

are like walking on air. they are expensive around 80-100 dollars but wear

forever. daniel green also makes a lounge shoe that is comfortable. you can

google and find them. SAS are heaven sent. rita

New Balance is a great brand! I've had physical

therapists also recommend them. Arthritis Today

magazine always has an ad for New Balance catalogs

Hi Pam!

I wear my New Balance sneakers 24/7. I've never tried Sketcher's before, but I

do highly recommend the New Balance. I have a ton of problems with my feet, as

well as the RA, and the sneakers are really the only thing I can wear that do

not aggravate my feet.

I think they run pretty true. I bought the maryjanes and a pair of oxfords. I

love the rubber tips on the toes too. They're still dressy, but you have more

protection for this rainy spring weather. I tend to wear 8.5s in dress shoes

with stockings and 9s in casual shoes. I bought 9s in both styles and they've

been fine with both nylons and socks. I've really loved them, what a godsend as

I'm pregnant and getting huger by the minute!!
