JUST MY THOUGHT OF THE DAY.

It really gets confusing doesn't it on what to take. what Dr. really

know, and what we think. I know I have found myself talking more and more to my

Pharmicist, he has given me tips on the meds, they have tried me on, most to No

relief or not able to stay on long enough on due to side effects. But in

response to the person worried about gaining weight from the meds, how about

asking if u can be put on effexor? I know, they had me on that for pain

control, as to try and cut me back off of the narcotic, and it worked, until it

for some reason decided to turn on me like others and I had to stop.. But let

me tell you, it took weight off of me, and since I have had to stop it, I have

been in tremendous pain. And for the doctors that don't believe in us being on

whatever needed to give us a break in reducing some of the pain, I say shame on

them. I have been in such pain now24/7 today makes 3 mo's and 1 day!, I can't

stand myself anymore, I just want to holler and

holler my insides hurt recently almost like my organs have dedcided to jump on

the pain wagon! Yeha! the disease found an untouched pain area. Geez, and for

the predisone people, I thought that was not effective PRN, ????? I thought it

had to get in your system and stay. Good for u that are able to use it that

way, as less worry of longterm harm from it. I also had a touugh time working,

went from FT to PT to having to recently apply for disability, which is what I

have fought for a few yrs, but could not do anymore, and came home to first

thing was a pain pill, next morning could not get up or out of bed without

help.. Having a great time, here today couch bound, snowing like crazy, and

really want to have a great SCREAM anybody want to do that with me today?

hate being on prednisone, but I have taken a dose here and there so that I

could get through my day at work. My doc gave me a script for them and I

can take as needed. What biologic are you on?

I believe most people who are on a biologic are also on MTX, try it, it may

make a world of difference. I'm on a biologic and MTX and I'd rather be on

that than the prednisone.

Had my appointment with the rhemy Friday. He uped my predisone to 20mg and

my humira to every week now my worry is the weight gain. The doc. says my RA

is out of control. any Ideas of how to loose weight or how to deal with this

disease I have been on meds since 1990 the doc want to put me on metho as

well all the meds scare me. I am also on pain med but the wants me off them

that makes no sense to me because if it wasn't for the meds I would not be

able to work part time is that is what you'd call it. I am not even able to

work 30 hrs a week. After working I hurt so bad It takes me 4 hrs in the

morning to even be able to dress myself and that is only after I have taken

the predisone and celebrex and a pain pill.
