Hi pennie...

I am on 10 mg of arava. It seems to help along with the enbrel and

prednisone 5 mg. I used to take 20 mg a day but had lots of stomach upset so my

rheumy

cut it in half. I do have some hair loss. My hair was very baby fine anyway

so this isn't helping much. I was hoping I would stop but I always find lots

of strands on my hairbrush. Not everyone has the same effects.

thanks a. I seem to have a cast iron stomach, and hair so thick that I

would appreciate the loss (as long as it was all over and didn't come out in

patches). I am on 400mg of Plaquenil as well, and will take some prednisone if

I can't cope waitng for the Arava to kick in. I really appreciate eveyone's

emails, it just helps to set my mind at ease. I am sooo pleased to be of the

methotrexate, I didn't realise what a negative impact it was having on my whole

life until I stopped it.
