Guest guest
I had posted earlier- I had same reaction, I was out in Ca. at the time visiting my daughter, it was the wkend, itching was maddening, I went to Pharmacy and talked with pharmicist, he said I should stop as it was a reaction, that would not go away. Pharmacist do know more about meds than Dr.'s hard to believe but true, think about it they have 8yrs of school as much if not more now than Dr. and that is all they are taught meds meds meds and reactions, that is why it will be the pharmicist who most times will catch a RX a DR has prescribed and see in our files it is something we can not take or mix with another we are on. Anyway once able to reach my Rhumie she agreed that I could not take it and though they say do not stop right away I did under pharmicist advice, no tappering off. You really need to adress this with the Dr. Sharon <Matsumura_Clan@...> wrote: I'm assuming this means that your rheumatologist is aware of your itching. Guest guest
Thanks for the heads-up on calling the Rheumy back to make sure. He did tell me to stop the MTX. I'll be starting on Enbrel instead sometime in the next few weeks. I'm assuming this means that your rheumatologist is aware of your itching. > If he/she is not, please contact him/her immediately. > > If your rheumatologist is aware of the itching, perhaps a second opinion is > in order. > > Are you having your liver function monitored regularly? > > > Not an MD > > > [ ] MTX and itching > > > > I'm new to the group.
